‘Glee’ Star Dianna Agron Turns the Camera on Photographer Tyler Shields

When we first profiled ‘Glee‘ star Dianna Agron, she was talking about her lifelong desire to have her own photography exhibition. Well, now she’s taken one step closer. The actress teamed up with photographer Tyler Shields, turning the camera on the man himself for a new series of photos.

“When I met Dianna, we started talking about photography and she told me she shot photos a lot,” Shields recently told a celebrity website. “When I meet amazing people I want to photograph them but I thought it would be interesting if she shot me instead.”

So he gave her the camera, and the resulting photographs show Agron’s surprising talent behind the lens. The experience, the results of which which you can check out in person on May 8th 2011 at 2476 Hunter Street in downtown Los Angeles, was a first for Shields – in more ways than one.

“It’s quite funny being on the other side of the camera in a photo shoot but she is great and has a wonderful eye for things. She also got me to eat peanut butter for the first time in my life and of course we photographed the whole thing!”

Shields has made a name for himself in recent years due to his highly-publicized shoots. In 2009 he was arrested for disorderly conduct during a shoot with the cast of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ and in 2010 his studio portraits of Lindsay Lohan wielding a gun received heavy criticism. Most recently Shields claimed to have set a world record by staying awake for 968 consecutive hours (40 days).
