Q: When photographing animals, should I use single focus or continuous focus?
A: This depends on whether or not your subject is moving and/or what type of shot your are trying to achieve. If you are looking to catch a bird in flight, for example, it is a good idea to go into continuous as the camera will attempt to refocus. In order to keep focus, you will need to keep your subject in frame. It is also a good idea to attempt to keep y our subject in roughly the same part of the frame so that your camera does not have to hunt for a focus point.
