Over 6 billion photos have been uploaded to Flickr since it’s launch in February of 2004. It sounds like a lot and it is, but compared to Facebook it’s nothing. Supposedly facebook gets around 6 billion photos per month. In order to put things into perspective, Erik Kessels decided to print every photo that was uploaded within a 24 hour period to Flickr.
